How AI can make human workforce future-proof. Ways of improving the decision-making process

It’s widely confirmed by the organizational management that with one simple decision, the productivity of the employees can double. There are studies that show that in the next ten years almost half of our jobs will need to be transformed. It’s a legit prediction taking into consideration that nowadays is chatbots responding to millions of questions at once. The business pace dramatically changed and there we don’t need humans to go faster.


 “You could use experts to predict the future, but they tend to get more wrong when they get it wrong. If you use an AI and try to expose these predictions and mix them up, you can tune them through AI. AI enabled social physics can reveal what’s in your organization and can shift culture because we can do these interventions”, says David Schrier the founder & CEO of Distilled Analytics. He is also Lecturer & Futurist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's famed MIT Media Lab, where he previously was Managing Director, Connection Science and New Ventures Officer, MIT Sloan.

The evolution is needed, as David Shriner also told it in his speech. The workforce needs an upgraded level of usability. For that, we can have some guidelines, as an AI mindset to understand that Artificial Intelligence: 
•    Enhances human expertise and skills
•    Automates monotone actions so employees can work at more valuable tasks
•    Analyzes patterns and helps humans to become better at problem-solving.
•    Supports the process of decision-making


David Schriner also gave a similar example of a company that he assisted throughout the product release cycle. His story was about improving productivity in the workplace for a bank. By analyzing the meetings patterns, they found out that no one talked to the client service team then after the product was released. Suddenly, everyone had meetings with the client service department and then stopped utile they had the next product released. 

By revealing what was happening into the organization, the management team found that only by changing the seating scheme and moving client service next to everybody else, instead of that on a different floor, did a dramatic improvement into the team performance. So, it seems that in the corporate world, we are just at a humble start of exploring our abilities as humans, to effectively collaborate, communicate, and lead.
The AI mindset once adopted by companies will help set higher standards for employees and customers experience and will eliminate barriers to novelty and creativity. Artificial Intelligence helps to prioritize creative skills over a certain routine task because in the next years the talent and creativity will be most wanted. Data and models offered by AI will endorse and enhance decision-making skills and human innovation.
